Gisèle Vienne, Dennis Cooper & KTL “KINDERTOTENLIEDER”

Kindertotenlieder is a piece of dance and electronics which invites to examine the interpretation of reality and fantasy to question concerns and obsessions. At the stage, two teenagers in a group experiment this confusion between fiction and reality while they attend a kind of concert for a burial. The music interpreted by Stephen O’Malley (member of the famous collective Sunn O)))) and Peter Rehberg, among others, is a calm, dark and powerful theme, which takes the audience to a confusion between what they see and what is actually represented. The stage is turned into a centre of chaos between reality and fiction due to it offering, at the same time, a concert and a dance representation.

The work of Gisèle Vienne is centred in the relationship between natural and aritificial bodies. In this work, it is explored the use of the body in the traditional Austrian iconography and the confusion that exists between real events and those which form part of rituals and collective fantasies.

The entry for this performance is only permitted Ander previous reserve. This reserve will be made calling at the phone number +34 616526833 (between 21st and 30th April 2008 at 12h / 14h) or by mail at datatron@levfestival.com before the 30th April.
The collection of the tickets is at the LEV Festival ticket office, located at the entrante of the Laboral the 2nd of may, or in the Laboral Theatre ticket office the saturday 3rd of may befote the 20.30h. To take away the tickets is necessary to present the day ticket or bono ticket and the name of the reserve.
